Paul Savage, High-Performance Leadership Advisor | Strategic Partner to Executives & Teams

Why me?

I am a Chair, Non-Executive Director and commercial leader working across food, farming and FMCG. 


Through Savage Performance Advisory, I provide interim commercial leadership and personal development coaching for organisations and leaders who want to deliver performance with integrity. 


Board Roles


I serve as a Chair and Non-Executive Director in farmer-owned, member-led and public-sector organisations. My board work focuses on governance, strategy, risk and stakeholder confidence, particularly where commercial, agricultural and sustainability interests intersect. 


Commercial & FMCG Background


Before I established Savage Performance Advisory, I spent nearly three decades in senior roles across FMCG and agriculture. I have led commercial, agricultural and supply chain teams, managed major UK retail (Asda, Sainsburys, Morrisons, Aldi, Lidl, Amazon, M&S) and wholesale customers and worked at the interface between farmers, processors and retailers. 


 

  • Leadership roles in dairy and agri-food manufacturing
  • Responsibility for branded and own-label portfolios
  • Direct experience of customer negotiations and joint business planning


Coaching & Advisory work


I am a certified Everything DiSC practitioner and experienced leadership coach. My coaching is anchored in real business context, focused on the decisions, relationships and outcomes that matter to leaders in the sector.


Through Savage Performance Advisory I combine board insight, commercial experience and coaching skills to offer interim commercial leadership and one-to-one development for leaders and emerging NEDs.
